Share this video with your friend: • New NR 35 - 2023 [Main Changes] Hello, in this video I will talk about the main updates of the new NR 35 of 2023 through Ordinance 4,218 of December 20, 2022. Some of the main changes are: • Separation of Objective from Field of Application; • Definition of Height, as a difference in level; • The company must make AR, PT and Operating Procedures available to all members of the work team; • Archiving of documents for a period of 5 years; • Creation of the title: Authorization, Training and Aptitude; • Training must contain basic notions of rescue and first aid techniques; • Training must be provided by instructors with proven proficiency in the subject, under the responsibility of a qualified or legally authorized professional in occupational safety. • The PT must be issued in physical or digital form; • The SPQ must: comply with national technical standards or, in their absence, with applicable international standards in force at the time of its manufacture or construction; • Periodic inspection must be performed at least once every twelve months, and the interval between inspections may be reduced depending on the type of use, frequency of use or exposure to aggressive agents. • When used for fall arrest, the parachute-type safety harness must be equipped with an integrated lanyard with an energy absorber. • Workers trained in rope access do not require NR 35 training; • All rope access work must have a qualified occupational safety professional responsible for risk analysis; • Creation of Annex III Ladders.
