We show you how to install large-format decorative panels that, as they are perfectly water-resistant, can be placed anywhere in the house. http://www.bricocrack.tv Tutorial Decoration Coverings Large-format PVC panels Changing walls without work. The decorative 3D PVC panels that we use in the video are from V-Line. More information about decorative 3D PVC panels on the V-Line website: https://www.vlinecovering.com/es/. The work clothes and safety footwear that we wear are from Velilla Group, go to their website to see their catalogues: https://www.velilla-group.com/ At Bricocrack we love being able to make changes to the decoration of the house without any work, which is why we closely follow the evolution of decorative panels. And finally, large-format panels arrive, which allow us to work even faster and have fewer visible joints. The panels that we show you how to install in this video are from V-Line. They are 260 cm high and made of PVC, so although they perfectly imitate wood, you can place them on any wall in the house, whether or not there is water. These panels are also designed with a 3D surface, a three-dimensional surface that adds texture and depth to the wall where they are placed. As always, before starting to install a covering that is attached to the wall, we have to make sure that it is clean and well consolidated. If the wall is very absorbent or we doubt its adherence, we first apply a coat of V-Line Primer. We have chosen to keep the skirting board in our installation, but these panels can be installed directly on the floor because, being made of PVC, they will not deteriorate when we scrub it. We take the measurement from floor to ceiling (in our case, to skirting board) and cut the first panel. We do it with a jigsaw to test and it works well, but we discover later that doing it with the cutter is much more comfortable and faster. A single pass of the cutter and a sharp blow to cut the material. We use the adhesive provided by the V-Line brand and spread a few pellets on the back, in the areas that stick out. It is always important that there is enough adhesive on the top and bottom of each piece. As the pieces are tongue and groove, we always leave the tongue on the side where we are going to continue installing. In our case, on the right of the image, which is where the installation is growing. It is very important that you check the leveling of the first piece and, when placing the second panel, make sure that you are fitting the tongue and groove well. If you have any difficulty pressing, use a wooden block and a hammer. That's it, all that's left to do is continue placing pieces. Until we come across electrical mechanisms. Juan shows you how to make the recesses with the jigsaw. When we reach the end of the wall, we adjust the size of the piece we need by making a longitudinal cut in the black PVC base of the panel. If you are going to cover more than one wall in the room, when you get to the corner, you have to change the direction of the installation to maintain the tongue and groove. Place the tongue of the piece in the corner and leave the tongue free so that the installation continues to grow, in the case of our second wall, towards the left of the image. If you place these panels in the bathroom or kitchen, somewhere where water falls directly on them, you will have to reinforce the joints with a transparent silicone cord to prevent water from entering. Juan is also going to show you how to install these panels with staples on battens in case you prefer to do it this way, instead of gluing them to the wall, or take advantage of the opportunity to introduce thermal or acoustic insulation. In the following tutorial we are going to show you how to install V-Line's SPC XL decorative panels, which, unlike these, are made of SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) and imitate stone and marble. We hope that the tutorial will be useful to you when deciding to include these products in the decoration of your home. Leave us your comments below because your opinion is very important to us.
