Mat and Yianni have gone head-to-head in A LOT of drag races but this is the first time they’ve gone head-to-head in an off-road challenge! We’ve got Mat in the new Ford Ranger, and he’ll be taking on Yianni in a Toyota Hilux! So let’s see how they compare. Starting with the new Ford Ranger, it’s powered by a 2-litre twin-turbo diesel, which can produce 205hp and 500Nm of torque. It comes with a switchable AWD system, as well as a rear self-locking differential. It weighs around 2,400kg and costs from £39,000. Next up is the Hilux. It’s equipped with a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine that can produce 204hp and 420Nm. It also comes with some off-road capability, including a locking rear differential. It’s lighter than the Ford, at 2,100kg, but it’s also a little more expensive, at £44,000. So what do you think? Will Yianni win his first off-road battle? Let’s find out!
