For a dozen or so days I have been living in a macabre nightmare – says to us a resident of one of the tenement houses on Kopernika Street in Szczecin. The story she told us sounds like a horror movie script. A man died on the floor above our interviewee's apartment, but for several weeks no one knew about it. His body was decomposing, and bodily fluids began to leak through the floor. One day, the woman noticed that a stinking liquid was dripping from the ceiling onto her washing machine.
