28/04/12 - Several fire engines were called out at the end of the afternoon on Saturday for a report via the private alarm center. Shortly afterwards, the fire department scaled up to medium assistance due to a possible hazardous substance. As a result, Blaak station was evacuated as a precaution, causing train and metro traffic to temporarily come to a standstill. It turned out to be a smoking generator. No hazardous substances were released. Can be seen in this video: » AG90-1 - Hazardous substances advisor. » SO90-1 - Staff officer. » CE54-1 - Emergency unit. » HA54-1 + OE54-1.
