I went dancing a bit on the top of Rukatunturi at the Solstice festival. Solstice Festival is an event for people who enjoy music, art and nature, preferably combined. It takes place in midsummer (June 20-22) in Northern Finland, near the Arctic Circle. The festival area, Rukatunturi, is an arctic hill that rises half a kilometer above sea level and offers people picturesque views over pine forests and lakes. Due to the combination of the season and the northern location, the sun never sets, creating a unique atmosphere — a celebration of light and life.
