The Curse of Tutankhamun is one of the greatest mysteries of the last century. November 1922. Howard Carter, on an expedition financed by the Earl of Carnarvon, discovers the intact tomb of a pharaoh who was mummified more than three thousand years ago. His name was Tutankhamun. A discovery that represents the greatest achievement in the history of Archaeology and, due to the fascination generated by the mysteries of Ancient Egypt, the greatest media phenomenon of the 1920s. But soon, the celebration would give way to pure horror. The lord of Carnarvon was found dead in his room in Cairo. A death that would precede a whole series of strange deaths of many of the people involved in the opening of Tutankhamun's tomb. Around thirty deaths were attributed to the vengeance that he had unleashed on those who desecrated his rest. The press was quick to dub it “The Curse of the Pharaoh”.
