The 18 kilometre long Groesbeek route takes you through the forests of the Wolfsberg, the Hooghe Hoenderberg and Dekkerswald. There are three starting points. Here you can follow the purple approach route to the start of the route, which is a maximum of a few hundred metres away. The route has a purple marking and has the technical difficulty classification blue: average. On this route you will find the technically challenging Traumapad. This path owes its name to both the physical and mental traumas that the rider can experience on this path. The path is a 1.5 kilometre long descent with many flowy bends, high descending banked bends and rollers. Beginners are advised to follow the wide parallel path (green signs) and almost at the bottom of the route to pick up again to the left. The route also offers a lot of variety between wider paths and flowy single track. There is no shortage of banked bends, but also short turns and hanging bends. The route also includes many meters of elevation in the somewhat longer climbs and descents. A technical, challenging route. In some places a technical parallel path has been constructed (red sub-sign = difficult). The red paths require more technical mastery of the mountain bike and are therefore strongly discouraged for beginners. The route can be combined with the mountain bike route Nijmegen (15 kilometers) and the routes in Mook (15 kilometers) and Malden (10 kilometers). --- Instagram: / mountainbike_nederland TikTok: / mtbnederland In 2023 I (re)discovered mountain biking!
