The gearbox has been available since 2002, although it premiered in the very niche Golf R32. And a moment later, it found its way into almost everything: Volkswagen Golf mk5 and mk6, Passat B6, Tiguany, Tourany, Golf Plus, Skoda Octavia, Skoda Superb, Seat Toledo, Leon, etc. Very good, very well designed gearbox.
