We begin this video with the famous Morro do Careca, which faces the challenge of natural erosion, a constant threat in the region. The widening project on Ponta Negra beach, which I will show below, aims to preserve the coastline, expanding the strip of sand and protecting the environment from the advance of the sea. I explore the impact of this project on the safety of the coastline, on the appreciation of the local economy and on the experience of those who visit Ponta Negra.
