The President of the Andalusian Government, Juanma Moreno, and the Third Vice President of the Government and Minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Sara Aagesen, have held a meeting at the San Telmo Palace to evaluate the commitments made in the Doñana Agreement, signed a year ago, coinciding with the publication today of the regulatory bases of the complementary aid to farmers that were pending. Aid that, as Moreno explained, is highly anticipated by the affected farmers and complemented by the Andalusian Government and the Provincial Council of Huelva. "We must congratulate ourselves on the fact that we can make this announcement and remember that the origin of this agreement has been to solve the problem that a large number of farmers have suffered for a decade." In this way, he has asserted that the bases were fundamental to know who will have the right and under what conditions to promote the renaturalization of crop surfaces and propose new crops with less water demand. At this point, he indicated that this year technical and political meetings have been held with a certain normality and he stated that he hopes that a fluid and dialoguing relationship will be maintained with the new minister, since he stressed that cooperation between the different institutions is vital to move forward and fulfill commitments.
