The main problem in mood disorders is to have an inappropriate or exaggerated emotional reaction to the conditions and situation. The most common picture in mood disorders is Depression. Feelings such as depression, inability to enjoy life, actions done in the past no longer providing pleasure, inner distress, restlessness, pessimism, hopelessness are symptoms of Depression. Another picture seen in mood disorders is the Mania Period. The Mania Period is the period when the mood is very high and the patient is overly enthusiastic. During this period, the patient has exaggerated important thoughts or projects that are out of touch with the ground, feeling much higher than they are, grandiose thoughts, thoughts racing in the patient's mind, feeling overly energetic, decreased need for sleep, even denying the need for sleep, being excited or spending too much money without thinking about the consequences, driving excessively fast are examples of the symptoms seen.
