For this last video of 2018, we invite you to discover the Montpellier Tramway which is made up of 4 lines: 1 (Mosson – Odysseum), 2 (Jacou – Saint-Jean-de-Védas Centre), 3 (Juvignac – Pérols Étang de l'Or/Lattes Centre) and 4 (circular line around the city centre). The first line was put into service on June 30, 2000, the second on December 16, 2006, then the last two on April 7, 2012. The fleet is made up of 83 single-line trains: 30 Alstom Citadis 401s running on line 1, 28 Citadis 402s running on lines 1, 2 and 3 as well as 25 Citadis 302s running on lines 2 and 4. In addition, the network has 4 multi-line trains: 2 Citadis 402s for lines 1 and 3 as well as 2 Citadis 302s for lines 2 and 4. These trains are maintained at the Hirondelles depot, near the Saint-Paul station, for lines 1 and 3. The La Jeune Parque depot near the Sabines station maintains the trains for lines 2 and 4. The tramway has the particularity of having a circular line, unique in France, all around the city center of Montpellier, line 4, with the Garcia Lorca station as its only terminus. Thus, it is named 4a or 4b depending on its direction of travel (4a clockwise, 4b counterclockwise). In addition, all the lines intersect at the Gare Saint-Roch station, the central point of the TaM network (Transport de l'Agglomération de Montpellier).
