What to do in Minas Gerais? Have you ever heard of the Milho Verde district? Have you ever tried the typical Minas Gerais cuisine? What to do in the interior of Minas Gerais? - This Sunday, Boa Sorte Viajante aired the third episode of the super report on the interior of Minas Gerais. This week we visited the Milho Verde district, located about 24 km from Serro, in the interior of Minas Gerais. According to stories, it is named after a man who had only green corn to offer to the pioneers when the first bandeirantes passed through the region. Postcards of Milho Verde, the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres and the Capela de Nossa Senhora do Rosário mark the preservation of the colonial houses. Another attraction in the region is the Cachoeira do Lajeado, with an easy-access trail and the formation of beautiful natural pools, and the person who accompanied us on this incredible tour was the tour guide Marciano Correia. Our next destination for the day was the kitchen of Mrs. Elza Camilo, who uses the teachings of her mother Maria Erlinda's quilombola cuisine in her dishes. The dish she prepared was chayote with ora-pro-nóbis. Have you ever heard of this combination? Continuing on, we arrived at the house of Mrs. Geralda, a great grocery store owner, and it is around the wood-fired oven that she prepares her delicious recipes, tried and approved by tourists from various places in Brazil and the world. #MilhoVerde #Serro #MinasGerais ===================== WHO IS MATHEUS BOA SORTE?
