About :

In September 2022 we walked the southern part of the Merano High Trail in a 3-day tour. On the first day we went from St. Martin in the Passeier Valley up to Gfeis and then via the Longfallhof to the Gasthof Hochmuth. The next day we hiked along the Hans-Frieden-Felsenweg to the Leiteralm and then on to the Hochganghaus. Then we went over the Hohe Wiege to the Giggelberg. On the last day we first walked through the 1,000 Step Gorge to the Pirchhof and then on to Unterstell. Finally, the path led us above the Schnalstal Valley to our destination, the small town of Katharinaberg.
