This time I'm taking you with me on my 2019 summer vacation. The Merano High Trail (MH24) circles the Texel Group mountain range in South Tyrol over 100 km, climbing and descending around 6,000 meters in altitude. The circular route consists of a northern and a southern section, which differ in terms of landscape and route technology. The northern section requires stamina for high alpine tours, while the southern section mostly runs below the tree line and can also be easily walked by inexperienced hikers. Highlights on the way are crossing the Eisjöchel at around 2,900 m, and crossing the 1,000-step gorge. For my thru-hike, I chose the 6-day clockwise variant with start and finish at Hochmuth above Dorf Tirol. In this video, I take you on the 4th stage from the beautiful Eishof via the Eisjöchl to Pfelders. I undertake all hikes as part of my private and non-commercial hiking blog. I have been writing reports on my experiences under the name "DO NOT ROCK THE GONDOLA" since 2014 and have recently started editing short videos of my adventures. You can find my blog online at: https://donotrockthegondola.wordpress... I am always happy to receive criticism and suggestions in the comments and of course a like or subscription. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Music: Axel Flóvent Herbert Pixner Project Johanna Billing
