Bertalan Thuróczy, engineer, athlete, author of the book Run, Believe, Live. He grew up in Rákóczifalva, a small village near Szolnok. He obtained a master's degree as a biomedical engineer during his journey studded with hopeless situations. During his university studies, he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor. His illness encouraged him to combine his engineering profession with his personal involvement: he works on the development of a medical device that can benefit his fellow humans.
