This video shows the diagnostics and repair of the Melitta Barista control board, on which the pump triac exploded, its current-limiting resistor, power supply fuse and PTC resistor in the pulse power supply circuit burned out. Initially, the client assumed that the failure could be associated with voltage surges, but later it turned out that the insulation of the pump wires was damaged, which led to a short circuit. Also, during the diagnostics, I describe some features of the circuitry of coffee makers of this type: Melitta, Nivona, Miele, old Bosch and Siemens models.
