This week we are presenting you with perhaps our most exciting episode to date. We are in the original home of a Turkish family in California, a true mid-century modern legend designed by Cliff May, built in 1954. This home is both cool and cozy. Since the day the apartment started broadcasting, we have reflected the living spaces of inspiring people who are interested in design, decoration, architecture and interior design. We could not even imagine that we could enter this home and convey the life inside to you. Being in a real 'California ranch house' and being able to bring every corner of it together is like a dream. It is a great chance to see the traces of modernism and mid-century modern preserved in this house where Melis lives with her husband and two sons. All the houses in this neighborhood consisting of 200 houses are Cliff May designs and they are preserved because there are already curious and creative people living in the neighborhood and because it is not very easy to find these houses anymore. The designer designed these houses, which are limited in number and have been preserved to this day, by taking inspiration from the California climate, to be the inner and outer spaces. These houses are houses that do not have incredibly large square meters, where the outdoors is enjoyed as much as possible, without too many items. Melis also explains her philosophy in the episode. Melis, the founder of the House No. 23 brand, has decorated the house so beautifully with objects, furniture and plants she collected from flea markets, antique shops and flower markets; there are both new pieces and old pieces that completely recreate that period in the house. We hope you enjoy watching it, let's meet in the comments please. Enjoy! #circleworldtour #onehundred ...
