In the latest installment of the joint series between Egy hely and Építészfórum, we guide our viewers to the villa district of Mátyásföld. The settlement, founded in 1887 on a former hunting ground, initially attracted the Pest gentry looking for a holiday. The image of the area is largely determined by the architecture of József Paulheim, who designed at least 50 villas, as well as the church and later the gymnasium building.
