There are three inland lighthouses in the Curonian Lagoon, on the territory of Lithuania. They are not impressive in height, but they have a long history and decorate the landscape. In Šilutė district, Rusnė island, on the left bank of the Atmata river, the octagonal Uostadvaris lighthouse has been standing for more than a hundred years, the only lighthouse in the Curonian Lagoon, built not on land, but on a small artificial island - Pervalka lighthouse and Ventės horn lighthouse, 1831. appeared not with the care and funds of the government, but thanks to private initiative.
