#tvaparecida #doityourself Embroiderer and embroidery teacher Isabelle Brentan teaches us an embroidered violet using the needle painting technique. ???? LIST OF MATERIALS: 1 piece of raw cotton fabric measuring 20x20cm 1 pencil or ghost pen (which comes off with heat) 1 sewing needle number 9 1 hoop with 12 or 14cm screw threads to fill the flower ✂️ STEP BY STEP: ???? Trace the line on the fabric. Place the fabric attached to the hoop until the surface is very straight. Starting with the petals, place the lighter thread on the needle and make the first layer on the outermost part of the petal. ???? If necessary, add a layer of the same color. With the middle color, embroider the next layer of the same petal. ???? Finally, with the darker color, embroider the last layer until it reaches the center. Repeat the process with all the petals. ????With the yellow thread, embroider the center, filling it with a French knot. ????For the stem, start at the tip of the leaf with the lightest green, and gradually darken it until you reach the stem. ????Finish by filling the stem also from the lightest part to the darkest. If you want, cut the burr from the fabric and glue it to the back of the hoop.
