A teacher by education and a soldier by vocation. This is how Sergeant Vitaliy Smilka can be briefly described. His biography includes decades of service in various units, not only in the defense of Ukraine, but also participation in peacekeeping missions. On the morning of February 24, 2022, he left his civilian job and returned to the army, where he found himself near Popasna in a few days. Now he works at the Lviv CCC - helping other Ukrainians find a vacancy in the Defense Forces. See how this happens in the new film from the project "North-South-West-East".
