Born in Pelotas, Luciano Maia began his musical studies at the age of 9. At 13, he was already considered a phenomenon among those who listened to him at native music festivals. As a teenager, he moved to Porto Alegre. There he met and played with the biggest names in Rio Grande do Sul, such as Edson Dutra, Renato Borghetti, Luiz Carlos Borges, Oscar dos Reis and many others. His name appears on more than 80 albums, including solo CDs, partnerships, special appearances, special projects and independent recordings. In addition to representing traditional gaucho music, Luciano, with a vast musical repertoire, also innovates with very successful experiments. This is the case of Quartchêto, a group that, in addition to the harmonica, has drums, trombone and guitar, and has been performing at important festivals throughout Brazil. A big fan of Dominguinhos and Albino Manique, who greatly inspire his music, Luciano also receives praise from his masters, who consider him one of the great names of the new generation. Produced by Miração Filmes and directed by Sergio Roizenblit.
