The 17th century was once built the Batavia Wall during the reign of JP Coen To monitor the VOC enemy and separate the indigenous population from the elite. This wall is located in the Old City area of ​​Jakarta and the condition of the wall is mostly badly damaged. The wall that is still good is in front of the Maritime Museum which is not far from the Fatahillah Museum and the VOC Shipyard. The wall built during the Dutch colonial period is about 5 kilometers long, unfortunately its condition is like that. Even though this location has the potential to become a historical tourism area.
