Loket Castle (Elbogen) was built on the highest rocky part of the peninsula surrounded by the Ohří River in the Romanesque period. Later, the adjacent under-castle became a fortified town connected to the castle, whose eastern fortification of the gate was called the lower castle due to its size. During the Šlik dynasty, the castle was rebuilt at great expense, the city's fence fortifications were strengthened with horseshoe-shaped bastions, and at the same time a new access corridor to the castle was created with four artillery bastions, which have not survived. The terrain visualization reflects the current state. Of the urban development, only the church is visualized, the city blocks are marked flat.
