Hi, everyone, how are you? The integration of spaces is very popular in architecture these days, due to the need to bring more spaciousness and comfort to our homes. And today I'm going to talk about 5 essential items that should be thought about twice before designing your living room integrated with the kitchen, such as: 1st) Layout without planning - Think about the volume of the furniture and the circulation. Before buying a sofa, armchair, coffee table, or making the peninsula for your kitchen, draw the space that will be occupied on the floor. This will help you visualize how this item will look in the space and whether or not it makes sense and if the size is proportional. 2nd) Busy environment - The main point of integrating a living room with the kitchen is the permeability between one space and the other. Avoid: large shelves, very large furniture (that can overload the space) and dark colors on the furniture and walls. Very dark floors, such as dark gray. Prefer lighter ones (beige, light gray).
