The G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro enters its second and final day, with world leaders addressing some of today’s most pressing global challenges. The day begins with the arrival of heads of state and continues with crucial discussions on sustainable development, energy transition and digital infrastructure. These discussions aim to create practical solutions for global growth, climate challenges and equitable development. Today’s agenda includes a keynote address by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on sustainable energy transitions. In addition, the IBSA alliance (India, Brazil and South Africa) is set to meet to discuss regional and multilateral priorities. Several bilateral meetings are also planned, focusing on trade, defence and global cooperation. The summit will conclude with a final ceremony, where Brazil will officially hand over the G20 presidency to South Africa.
