9-10.7.2021. This time a short break from the long distances in one day, but instead it will be ridden all weekend! The destination is the Neisse source. I'm starting with @wolfsmensch on my bike from Forst (Lausitz) and we're heading south on the #Oder-Neisse cycle path, or on Friday afternoon from Forst to Bad Muskau (36 km) and on Saturday from Bad Muskau to Liberec, #Czech Republic (148 km). We're riding through beautiful cities like #Görlitz and #Zittau as well as to the #border triangle: the point where the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany border each other. The original plan was even to reach the Neisse source on Saturday. But that won't work: too far, too hot, too many meters of altitude and... an unexpected flat tire shortly after Hartau. Apparently my unflattable Aerothan tube from Schwalbe isn't so unflattable. A big disappointment. That's why we decide to end the tour at our accommodation in Liberec and to go to the source of the Neisse the next day.
