The mysterious mountain Digoria is the most isolated, western part of North Ossetia. The Digorskoye Gorge is called the most beautiful and the most remote from the North Ossetian capital, Vladikavkaz. It is there that one of the most protected protected areas of the republic is located - the Alania National Park, which holds many surprises. Here you can see the legendary Akhsinta Canyon, and picturesque waterfalls, and the protected valley of the Bilagidon River, and the Madzaski Tsada natural monument, and ancient Galiat - a half-abandoned village with a centuries-old history.
