Fabric (cotton or viscose) Colorless shellac Stained glass varnish or general varnish Glossy acrylic varnish Solvent Scissors Nail file Soft beveled brushes Foam roller Metallic paste ???? STEP BY STEP: ???? Wash and dry the plates ???? Cut the fabric a little larger than the diameter of the plates. ???? Place the plate on a support. ???? Using the roller, spread the glossy acrylic varnish over the plate generously but without leaving excess. ???? With the fabric print facing down, place the fabric over the plate, stretching it with your hands so that it is well stretched and close to the plate. Let it dry. ???? Cut off the excess fabric and then apply a coat of shellac. Wait for it to dry. ???? Apply a second coat of shellac. Let it dry. ???? Sand the plate. ???? Apply a coat of stained glass varnish or general varnish. Wait for it to dry. ???? Apply a second coat of stained glass varnish or general varnish. Wait for it to dry. ???? Sand the plate again and wipe it with a soft towel. ???? Gently apply the metallic paste to the edges of the plates with your fingertips. ???? Wait for it to dry for at least 30 minutes and then apply the acrylic varnish over the metallic paste with your finger. ???? Allow the plates to dry for 72 hours before using. ???? Wash them with water and detergent. The plates should not be washed in the dishwasher or microwaved. Use solvent to clean the brushes.
