This is the best hiking route in Elbrus region for the whole family. We went to that area twice as a family. We got a pass at the Shkhelda Alpine Camp. It is done quickly if the person is on site. The places are very beautiful and surprisingly accessible. Only 1.5-2 hours of easy climbing along the gorge and we are already at the lake surrounded by majestic mountains. This is one of the best family treks in the Caucasus that we went on: along the AdylSu gorge to the lake and the Bashkara glacier at the foot of Mount DzhanTugan.
