A clip from the #Procession_of_Pride series produced by #Beirut_International_Center #bic The series narrates the events that took place after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) in the Karbala incident on the 10th of Muharram in the year 61 AH, where his sister, Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), and his son, Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him), along with the women and children of the Household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) who were not killed in the battle, were taken in a mournful procession to the palace of Ibn Ziyad in Kufa and from there to the palace of Yazid in Damascus on a harsh journey. In this procession, Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) faced injustice with her patience and wisdom, and proved with her steadfastness that the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) was truly for the sake of reform in the nation of his grandfather, the Messenger of God (peace be upon him), to be truly the woman who transformed the procession of captivity into a procession of pride. What this series presents is a set of moving facts and events. It has been approved by an elite group of scholars and Islamic religious institutions in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Iran.
