La Maliciosa is one of the most emblematic mountains of the Sierra de Guadarrama, its 2,227 meters make it the choice of many hikers who decide to put their legs to the test. Today I will climb from the Cuerda de las Buitreras, a difficult choice, but very fun, as it moves away from the busy official route and climbs the steep scree of the beautiful ridge. The route passes close to the Via Ferrata de El Cuervo and the Cagalera pass and from there it climbs along the crest of the ridge crossing the Riscos de La Maliciosa, passing through its rocks and the well-known Ventana de la Maliciosa until reaching the summit of La Maliciosa.
