The Gervanne is a river that rises at the Col de la Bataille in the Vercors massif and after a 30 km journey joins the Drôme river at Mirabel and Blacons. It crosses a valley dotted with several remarkable hilltop villages with a significant historical heritage. Beaufort sur Gervanne: This is the central village of the Gervanne valley Montclar sur Gervanne: At the top of the hill, the Romanesque church of Saint Marcel dominates the entire Gervanne. The landscape is breathtaking from the Vercors to the Bourdeaux region. Gigors and Lozeron: We are here at the bottom of the valley, far from everything but close to the marvelous. Suze: An old village that has been restored stone by stone and has regained its pride. At the end of this video we take you to the Beaufort sur Gervanne squash fair.
