The construction of Läppästilta is a rare opportunity, even for those who are skilled in demanding infrastructure construction. Kreate's strong expertise in bridge construction and underwater foundations ensured the completion of the Lillholmen flap bridge in the fall of 2022 in Paraini. The inventive reuse of materials brought added value to the exceptional bridge project. The concrete pontoon of the old bridge will continue to work for years to come, and the stones created as a by-product of industry decorate the surroundings of the new bridge. - This was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime project, because there are hardly many flap bridges built during one's career. Especially the construction of the flap section and the hydraulics and electrical automation of the flap in the two-story equipment room were very interesting and also skills-deepening work phases, says Tero Haaramäki from Kreate, who was the site manager of the project. The construction of Lillholmen's valve bridge is a Kreatest Hits project. It is our own sign that the project has combined innovation and courage to do something significant and move the infrastructure sector forward.
