This is Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. It is not on the Malay Peninsula, but on the naturally rich island of Borneo. This is "island hopping" around remote islands. Emerald green sea, fine white sand, deep blue sky and white clouds, lush trees, small fish and wild monkeys... You can join a tour, but it is cheaper to arrange it yourself. Many tourists gathered at the pier to buy boat tickets for the day. There are multiple boat operators, so you should not be unable to get on. It is recommended to visit one or two islands at a leisurely pace, as the time spent on each island will be shorter when visiting four islands.
