The new management invites the best crisis manager of the capital, which should increase the profitability of the restaurant. Kostya and Nastya get married. Max quits and leaves for Voronezh, but in a train compartment. Maxim Lavrov is a young provincial guy from Voronezh, who has been dreaming of a career as a high-class chef all his adult life. He surprises his loved ones with his culinary talents and even manages to create masterpieces from a meager set of army products. One day, fate gives him a chance: the military unit is visited by show business star Dmitry Nagiyev, who, having tried several dishes of the ambitious guy, leaves him his business card. After completing his service, Maxim stays in Moscow and tries to get a job at the chic capital restaurant "Claude Mone", owned by Dmitry. At the new place, he is met by the brilliant chef Viktor Barinov, who is able to make a dish even from potatoes, for which there will be a line. There is one thing though: he is a rather specific person, capricious, nervous and gambling, and no one has been able to tame his unbridled character for many years. Watching the intrigues unfolding in the kitchen, enduring ridicule from the junior staff, overcoming the consequences of set-ups and bullying, Maxim will try to gain Barinov's trust and favor, because only he decides who will get the role of the potato peeler, and who will get the role of the performer of a complex dish.
