The box in which the K7 is delivered is 20 kg lighter than the version with Smart Control, which is mainly due to the lack of a hose reel. Although this is a nice highlight of the full equipment, it also has its weight and when I bought this K7 I was only interested in the pure power of 180 bar water pressure and I deliberately did without all the electrical bells and whistles. In addition to the instructions, the delivery includes a spray gun, which I will connect to the high-pressure hose, the high-pressure cleaner itself and the Vario Power jet pipe, the dirt blaster and a 10-meter-long high-pressure hose. Attaching the accessory net is a bit fiddly, but what the heck, you only attach it once and whether you then use the resulting storage space for the 5-meter-long power cable, as I did here, or for something else is up to you. The high-pressure hose is a bit rigid for its function, but this also gives it an indestructible impression and can be easily hung up at the back of the high-pressure cleaner, even together with the power cable. There is also a hose nozzle to which any water hose can be connected with the popular Gardena plug-in system. The spray gun has a child safety lock that can be used to lock the lever and to connect the high-pressure hose to the gun, all you have to do is hold down a button to lock it in place and the hose will click into place. The adjustable spray pipe is now connected to the spray gun using the bayonet lock with locking nut that is familiar from Kärcher. The desired pressure is easily set using the soft or hard settings, although there is of course no soft setting when using the dirt blaster. Regardless of whether the high-pressure cleaner is used in the classic way with full power or as a dirt blaster, once you have one, you will never want to be without it. If the 10 meter high-pressure line is not enough for you, there are extensions in different lengths, although when using them you must be aware that the available working pressure naturally decreases depending on the length. But often it is not power that matters, but range. I have also linked some accessories under the video that I have tested. One is the rotating washing brush WB 130, which can be used to clean garden furniture together with the universal cleaning agent, for example. If the pressure is too high, however, the brush no longer rotates. So if you want to brush with pressure, the soft WB 60 washing brush is more suitable. This is the one you should use for cleaning rims and windscreens in particular. And now I will show you the K7 in practice in conjunction with the T-Racer T7 surface cleaner. The paving stones under the small seating area in front of our house get dirty every year. The spherical maple tree, which towers over everything, is partly to blame for this. The surface cleaner has 3 large buttons that can be used to conveniently switch between surface, corner and spray mode using your foot. In addition, the distance of the rotating nozzles from the surface can be selected using the adjustment wheel. I have set the smallest distance for the greatest cleaning performance. The so-called hovercraft effect makes the T-Racer particularly easy to maneuver. The rotating washing brush in conjunction with the universal cleaner is particularly suitable for cleaning garden furniture; after removing the cap, you only have to plug it in. The cleaner is only added at low water pressure; there is no mixing when the Vario Power jet pipe is used in hard mode.
