Travel with the express steam train from Dresden to Berlin Ostbahnhof with the express steam locomotive 01 2066-7. On April 8th, 2017, 40 years after the class 01 was retired from this route, this revival express train was a reminder of the travel traffic of the past. The steam locomotive had a lot to do with the 530-ton 13-car train and transported the train to its destination loudly and without any problems without a pusher locomotive. There was a water stop in Jüterbog. The most famous express trains on this route at the time included the D 379/378 Istropolitan, the D 371/370 Pannonia, and the D 1276/1275 Metropol. A nostalgic journey of a special kind and a logistical masterpiece to make something like this possible in the modern railway environment of 2017. Video in 4K quality.
