His classmates were Rajinikanth, Srinivasan, Jose, Ravindran and Chiranjeevi. After his studies, he became a co-director and actor with A Vincent, PA Bakr, Balu Kiryat etc...! Coincidentally, an offer to become an independent director came to Ayuvav........! Jayan the hero and Jayabharathi the heroine....!
