The Japanese people’s fascination with Thai tuk-tuks has created phenomena in many forms, but today it has reached the point where an electric tuk-tuk factory has been established in Japan!!! From the Japanese people’s fascination with tuk-tuks, where they organize tuk-tuk driving tours or order tuk-tuks from Thailand to Japan to display or collect, there is currently a collaboration with a Thai company to produce electric tuk-tuks in Tokushima City to meet the increasing demand of the Japanese people. The electric tuk-tuk systems have been modified to be suitable for use in Japan, while still maintaining their Thai charm. This project not only meets the needs of tourism, but also helps solve various community problems. In addition to generating income for Thailand, it also creates a stronger bond between Thailand and Japan. Therefore, the “electric tuk-tuk” has become a powerful soft power that can enhance a good image.
