This is an unboxing and test run video of the 1/80 scale plastic model railway (1/80 scale 16.5mm gauge) of the Japanese National Railways Mani 60 steel-bodied luggage passenger car by Nippon Seimitsu Model. The actual car is a luggage car from the group of 60 series steel-bodied passenger cars, manufactured using the bogies, frames and parts of wooden passenger cars. The 60 series had various models, including passenger cars, luggage cars and mail-combined cars. The product is based on the prototype of the baggage car Mani 60, but the actual cars are also of a wide variety and their classification is complicated. The video introduces three types of 0 series: early models 1-20, late models 21-42 and 100/500. Electrically heated models have 2000 added to their numbers, so for example, 2016 is classified as 0 series. The products, which have different shapes such as window layout and end faces, also have delicate piping on the underfloor equipment. The soft plastic handrails are also thin, but I think they would look even better if they were replaced with metal wire. Lighting is not standard equipment, so taillights and other parts will need to be modified to light up. It was an ambitious manufacturer, but it's unfortunate that there were no new products after the release of several types of Mani 60. Chamioka's Railway Hobbies channel aims to share information about railway hobbies, including not only vehicle models, but also layout and module production, railway photography and videography, and collection introductions. *In this video channel, the names "HO gauge" and "16th gauge" for 1/80 scale 16.5mm gauge are written according to the manufacturer's product advertisements and instructions. In addition, the names "HO gauge" and "N gauge" are used in the title to make it easier to distinguish the scale. (February 2023)
