Jan Kysela is a professor of constitutional law and political science. He heads the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the Faculty of Law in Prague, he also works as the secretary of the Constitutional Commission of the Senate and, since last year, as an advisor to the President of the Republic. He has written books on bicameral parliaments, the right to protest, legislative delegation, the separation of powers, and constitutional theory as a field.
