Jan Burian says about himself with exaggeration that half of his life he was the son of EF Burian and the other half of his life he is the father of Captain Demo. In reality, however, he has been one of the most important Czech singers since the seventies. He entered the scene as early as 1972, when he started working in tandem with Jiří Dědeček, later became musically independent and recorded a number of important albums, which were also produced by his sons Jiří and Jan. In On Air, he reminisced about his beginnings, but also talked about why he recently started hosting house concerts again and whether he gets tired of them. How does he remember the years when he and Dědeček cruised the republic in a Trabant? Why does the singer-songwriter prefer to use the singing poet instead of the label? And which of the world's singers is his biggest role model. Watch the full interview. ON AIR is a talk show by music columnist Pavel Kučera with musicians and people from the music industry.
