Installed items Oil temperature sensor: the sensor was installed in the engine block with an Adaptation piece for the sensors with 2 Outputs and 1/8 NPT measurement. We passed the wire to the Kombi cabin where we fixed the sensor display on the dashboard to monitor the oil temperature in the engine block. This display has lighting that facilitates night viewing. The sensor was purchased on Aliexpress and the adapter on Mercado Livre. Rearview mirror with rear camera: an essential item for vehicles with blind spots, as it will help us with the rear camera in parking lots and also on highways. We can travel with the camera on, helping with the rear view of the Kombi Mel. In addition to safety, all videos will be recorded on the memory card. If necessary, we will have access to the front and rear images of the Kombi Mel on the roads. This item was purchased on the Aliexpress website. Fire extinguishers: We received two fire extinguishers as a gift from Mr. Ivens and his wife Thaís, for our safety on the roads. A 1.3 kg fire extinguisher was installed in the engine compartment of the Kombi Mel. It works automatically, and there is no need for anyone nearby. When it comes into contact with fire, it explodes within 3 to 10 seconds and puts out the fire around it. Maximum coverage of 8 square meters or 3 cubic meters. And a portable fire extinguisher with direct pressurization, with a 4 kg charge of dry chemical powder ABC, designed to fight fires of Classes A (Solid Waste), B (Flammable Liquids), C (Electrical Equipment), which we will leave fixed in the cabin of the Kombi Mel for easy access and use if necessary on the road. In addition to providing safety for our Kombi, we can also help other vehicles on the roads. In the event of an accident, this extinguisher is a great size and volume for immediate assistance. LED Bar: 22-Inch 56cm 8D 390W 35100Lm LED Bar. This was the item that worried us the most, as we did a lot of research about its use on highways. Currently, it is not possible to regularize an LED bulb in the document. Only cars with factory-installed parts are authorized for use. However, as we had already purchased the part, we decided to install and use it only on deserted roads. Our intention on the trip is to travel through more deserted places and roads, to venture out with the Kombi Mel. So, this bulb will only be used in these cases to avoid problems with highway police or to impair the vision of other drivers. The LED bar with three lines of LEDs offers long-distance vision and a wide opening for complete illumination. Equipped with 3W American CREE-3030 LED chips, totaling 390W and 35100 lumens, ensuring exceptional power. Die-cast aluminum housing with water-resistant sealing for durability. Includes a breather valve to prevent condensation, on/off button and fuse holder (10A), easy installation with articulated support that rotates 360°. We left a protective waterproof cover on the LED bar to avoid problems on the road, we fixed the LED bar to our luggage rack/rack that we custom-made with the support for its installation.
