About :

The Mercedes LS-1935 was considered the best Mercedes mechanical horse of all time, a brand in transport in the 90s, which is still respected, permeates the roads and has many fans. It was launched in 1990, a period in which Mercedes Benz was presenting the renewal of all models of its classic truck lines, in 1989 it had presented the new HPN line made up of the 1214 and 1218 and which would give rise to the 1318 and 1620, the horses old mechanics LS-1934 and 1525, they were almost 20 years old, their appearance was already old and caused problems of internal discomfort. At the launch in 1990, the new 1625 and 1630, 1935 and 1941 were presented, with the new 400 series of Mercedes engines, the 5-cylinder OM-355 engine was replaced by the 10-liter (9973L) OM-449. equipping the new 1625 and 1630, and the 6-cylinder engine would become the 12-liter (11,967L) OM-447-LA, equipping the 1935 and 1941. Initially they had the chassis in the characteristic red color. With a PBTC of 45 t, its engine was a turbo intercooler with 354 hp and 158 kgf.m of torque (between 1,100 and 1,600 rpm), and the transmission was a ZF 16 S 1300, 16 speeds, facing Scania 112HW and Volvo NL12 on the market. The LS1941 was almost the same as the 1935, but the main differences were that the engine was tuned to generate 408 hp, following the Scania 142HS V8 and Volvo NL12 Power. In the following years, the 2635 model was launched, with the TopBrake engine brake, in 1996 they began to receive black chassis, and the 1941 was discontinued. The 1935 had power slightly increased to 360hp, and torque to 168Kgf.m in 1996, also receiving a new ZF16s 1650 transmission. In the year 98, the LS-1938 model was launched, which would replace the 1935, maintaining the traditional semi-advanced cabin, with a new front grille and other options, it was equipped with an OM 457LA engine, six cylinders and 380 horsepower, it was the first series of trucks with electronic management from Mercedes-Benz in Brazil, a new version of the 1938 was also launched the following year, the 1938S, the first heavy model with an advanced cabin from the precursor brand of the Axor line. The 1935 LS then had its production ended, going down in history, considered by many to be the best Mercedes of all time. However, the success of the 1935 still led Mercedes to launch, in 2001, the 1634, which was sold between 2001 and 2005 with an OM 447 LA mechanical engine, 6 cylinders with 360 hp, the same as the MB 1935. From 2006 onwards it received the electronic OM 457LA, 340 hp. In 2011, the new Atron line was launched at Mercedes, the classic model derived from the 1935, remained in line, renamed the 1635, receiving small aesthetic and mechanical changes, serving a very specific cost-benefit niche in the market, remaining with the OM-457LA electronic engine with 345 hp and 16-speed manual transmission, making it the last mechanical horse with a semi-advanced cabin in the country still being manufactured, Channel CONTACT: [email protected] FACEBOOK: / qravolantao
