Fred and Jamy leave the European continent to go to the largest desert in the world: the Sahara. In 4x4s, on the back of a dromedary or mule, they show us the desert and the oases, where life follows a very particular organization. Fred and Jamy travel through the desert in search of a water point and reach an oasis, located in the south-east of the Moroccan Sahara, the oasis of Fint. We will see how the oasis dwellers (inhabitants of the oasis) live and organize themselves to work and cultivate their plots. The wadi of Fint supplies the oasis with water thanks to the network of seguias, allowing the irrigation of the plots. The oasis recreates a micro climate that makes agriculture possible. The presence of date palms plays a vital role since they shelter the shrubs, almond trees and other various crops (cereals, citrus fruits, tomatoes, etc.) from the sun.
