Israel or Palestine?, by Pastor Jose Manuel Sierra Sunday, October 22, 2023. Daniel 10.12-21, the prophet Daniel is having a vision and is visited by an angel. The angel speaks to Daniel and gives him a message from God. The vision begins with Daniel fasting and praying for three weeks. In verse 12, the angel appears before Daniel and tells him that his prayer was heard from the first day he began to pray, but that the angel had been stopped by the prince of the kingdom of Persia (a spiritual being who controlled the region of Persia). The angel goes on to tell Daniel that the prince of Persia will be defeated by the prince of Greece, but that after that an even more powerful prince will come and rise up. The angel also tells Daniel that he is very loved by God and that even though the vision is about the distant future, Daniel must understand it and share it. The angel then tells Daniel to arise and be strong, and not to be afraid. The angel tells him that he has come to give him understanding and tells him that Daniel is very loved by God. The angel tells him that he must return to his work and that he will return to fight against the prince of Persia. The passage concludes with Daniel talking to the angel and feeling great weakness. The angel strengthens him and tells him not to be afraid and to be at peace. In summary, Daniel 10:12-21 is a passage that talks about a vision that Daniel had and a visit from an angel. The angel gives Daniel a message from God and tells him that he has come to give him understanding and to strengthen him. The passage also talks about spiritual princes who control regions and how God is in control of everything.
