About :

The #AVozDaPeriferia Festival ends with a flourish, qualifying more artists, opening a platform for knowledge exchange and allowing the favela to show its voice! This was the first edition and was sponsored by Cemig – A Energia da Cultura, ABOUT THE A VOZ DA PERIFERIA FESTIVAL The project will reveal new musical talents from peripheral regions of Belo Horizonte. The pre-selected voices will participate in the competitive phase, in three days of free performances at the A Autêntica concert hall. The judging committee will define six finalists and the public will choose the winning voice in an online vote. The prize will be the mixed and mastered recording of the song performed and a music video, promotion on the project platform and a special appearance at the festival's closing show.
